What a beautiful Bhairav to begin one's day with. How petty the details of the day are. I feel like a pilgrim in a lost and timeless temple, overwhelmed by incense and tulsi, drenched in the waters of the Bhagirathi. Close your door if you ever get up early in the morning, and open the windows, feel the fresh baby breath of the day, and let the notes assume the air. Mallikarjun Mansur:

So lovely. Thank you. :)
@ ph
:)
Its beautiful...:)
You know though I always liked carnatic music and appreciated it, I was never into hindustani classical till sometime back..
Now both of them make me feel that I shouldnt have left my classical music classes mid way.
Life.....:)
Well..doesnt matter.I am just glad I can appreciate the beauty of this :)
Music, like this, does indeed put one in touch with the inner self; dissolving all else into insignificance.
Thank you for sharing.
@ bhavya
No miss, you shouldn't have left. But you can take it up again I suppose. I hope to start learning too- if work lets me breathe, or if I hang my boots again and for good. This website is what allowed me to survive a place like IIMB. Ah...I miss that 10 mbps LAN ;-)

Indeed :) You'll find more such clips on that website. Some of them are quite rare, quite old, and priceless...It's a pity that music is seen as entertainment by most people now- in Indian classical music it has always been closer to worship.
Where have you disappeared?
I got good net connection in jharkhand and have downloaded some good deal of stuff from sawf. Am feeling like having ears worth being connected to the brain directly.
Really beuatiful...Thanks.
